The Algarve is a popular tourist location, with some incredible scenery. But for those that want a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, and want something slightly quieter than your average tourist destination, the western tip of the Algarve is the perfect place, specifically, Sagres.

There are beautiful sandy beaches, waves washing the shore, and incredibly dramatic cliffs lining the coast. It’s the ultimate place for those who enjoy taking in stunning natural landscapes, and like to relax in a place with a laid back and easy going atmosphere.

Even for the more adventurous of visitors, Sagres has plenty to offer by way of outdoor activities. So long as you don’t mind a fairly relaxed town, there’s plenty of nature to explore and adventures to be had in Sagres.

A Family Day Out at the Beach

Suzie and her family headed to Sagres to get some quality family time in a beautiful and natural location. She took to the beach with her husband and her two beautiful daughters, and the family had a heart touching day playing in the sand, and taking a break from normality.

With Sagres being a relatively remote and undiscovered location, Suzie and her family had the whole beach to themselves. And it’s safe to say that they made the most of this what may well be called a private beach experience.

They kicked off their shoes, ran barefoot across the beach, and had the chance to relax, play, laugh and just enjoy spending time together.

Capturing Memories

Suzie recognised that family time is so important, and that little ones don’t stay little for as long as we might think. So she decided to make the most of this family day out, and capture their precious  moments.

Suzie contacted us and we put her in touch with Patricia, a professional local photographer in Portugal, in the Sagres area. Patricia tagged along with the family to one of Sagres’ beautiful sandy beaches, and helped them create a truly magical day.

It was smiles and laughter all round as Patricia took photos of the family posing, playing and enjoying the idyllic location.

Suzie and her husband were grateful for the chance to have high quality and timeless photos taken of their family. They posed with the shore in the background, and a visible trail of their footprints trailed behind them into the distance. They were able to get some truly beautiful family photos that will surely be up on the wall for years to come, making Suzie and her husband smile with pride.

Even Suzie’s two young daughters seemed to enjoy the experience! Whilst their youngest was very young indeed, she giggled as her Dad held her high in the air, and as she grabbed her first handfuls of sand.

Their slightly older daughter laughed and grinned as she played with her little sister on the beach, and enjoyed posing in her blue spotty dress, with a big cheeky grin.

So the photo shoot was a big success for Suzie and her family. They all enjoyed the experience, and loved spending that quality time together. They left the beach with priceless photos that will be looked back on for years to come, a perfect memory of their family’s early years.
