The Best Time of Year to visit Portugal, Lisbon

If you’re visiting Lisbon for the weather, then the best time to visit is autumn and spring, however, with a hot summer come long beach days and with a cool winter come unique Portuguese delights.

Visiting Lisbon in Autumn

Visiting Lisbon in Winter

You may wind up spending a full day up there, sipping on Portuguese wine with a romantic drizzle tapping the cobblestone streets just on the other side of the window. Visiting Lisbon in Summer

In June you have the privilege of catching Popular Saints’ Festivals in Portugal. In Lisbon, around mid-June is the celebration of Santo Antonio, where the parties all around the city, day or night, are unavoidable. You can dance to traditional music with the locals in the streets, restaurants, beaches or bars! Then rent a car and escape to Sintra, which is only a 30-minute drive.
