Style:

My style is easy going and primarily documentary, I try to capture unique moments and the essence of the subject I’m portraying but maybe the most importan thing for me while shooting is for you to be having as much fun as I am.

I love to travel, is one of my passions and I try to travel as much as I can, I love meeting new places and new cultures and absolutely love to photograph every new place with wonder and as much excitement as I work with, back home. The same happens for me with every new book I read, and I’m always looking for new stories to dive into. I believe that life is made of experiences and good memories and thats what drives me half of the time, I love going to concerts and feeling that collective thrill that is so fulfilling, and getting to know new places, I also try to make that into a part of my work, the idea of not only taking pictures but making of it an insurmountable experience for everyone is what makes me most passionate of taking social photography.

Bogota is a city full of secrets, you can find very urban atmospheres, and also find natural and peaceful sites, it all depends on the taste of the visitor. For urban and hip places i love to take pictures at La Candelaria that its also a must for any traveller, Usaquén, Chapinero and La T are also on that kind of style. If you want to take a break and meet a really peaceful place El Jardin Botánico is the place to go, parks like El Virrey and also a must, Monserrate, are on the same page. For the most committed and the ones that want to go out of the city Guatavita is a nice little town near a reservoir with nice views, El embalse del Neusa is reservoir with a trail that takes you around a big lake, with forests and nice places to rest and take in the nature. Suesca is a town not more than 1 hour from Bogota, it is know for the rocks that you can climb all with different difficulties, there is a trail to hike and a railroad that is beautiful to photograph in. El Paramo de Sumapaz is the world’s largest Paramo and a breathtaking sight to see, to the south of the city and a bit of a travel is one of the less visited sites that I know near the city.
