Style:

I love to capture real moments – genuine laughter and smiles, in natural light. A Colorado, USA native, I love to shoot in nature with mountains, forests, and water in the backdrop.

Likes:

I am a lover of travel, new experiences, and slow breakfasts (with coffee, of course). I love to create beautiful and interesting things, especially in an art studio, kitchen, with pen and paper, or behind my lens. I like that art makes me see the beauty in tiny details and sweeping landscapes. I love to giggle with my 1 year-old daughter, to hike with her and my husband and to imagine the world with her eyes. I enjoy meeting new people, hearing their stories, and learning about what they love.

Recommended places:

Oslo has so many diverse and beautiful places to take pictures in! Frogner Park offers rows of trees, flower beds, fountains, lakes and iconic statues- giving photos a natural feel. The downtown area near the National Theatre offers iconic Norwegian backdrops like the Palace, Parliament, City Hall (where the Nobel Peace Prize is given) as well as easy access to the fjords, fountains, and cityscapes. The “barcode” district of Oslo gives a modern look to photos with bold lines and contemporary architecture with the fjord just behind it. But there are many great places in Oslo, a few of my other favorite locations are the Sognsvann lake, trendy Grünerløkka and the Botanical Gardens.
