I’m a firm believer in apple pie, and I think it can save the world. I like traveling slowly and meeting people who also do. I often nerd out about social media — after all, I am a photographer in an increasingly visual world. When I’m not taking photos, I cook (and photograph the results), make videos, or help businesses leave a good impression on Instagram.

Recommended places:

The Western Islands are my favorite area because they’re picturesque, quiet, central, and mostly undiscovered by other travelers. In spring I usually chase cherry blossoms and other flowers in parks, and during fall, the foliage around the canals. NDSM is your first choice for street art and urban vibes, and Oud-Zuid has spacious boulevards and a lot of beautiful architecture.
