The Charles Bridge, picturesque streets and the Prague Castle. Our local photographer captured these and many more while having photoshoot with a solo traveler from China.
Fiona dropped me a line while searching for her professional vacation photographer for her short stay in Prague. She came all the way from Macau, China and spent a few weeks traveling around Europe. Fiona asked for a travel portrait photography session. She wanted natural memorable pictures from the gorgeous city of Prague.
Our session started early in the morning as we were able to avoid crowded hours on Charles Bridge. I also wanted to capture the beautiful soft morning light. There were more photo sessions on the Charles Bridge during that morning, so we dived into the wonderful and hidden streets of the Lesser Town quite quickly.
The deep and moody atmosphere around Čertovka (Devil’s Channel) was successfully disrupted by Fiona’s beautiful smile and optimistic mood. We had also great fun while shooting in front of the famous John Lennon’s Wall.
Fiona’s wish was to capture some portraits with traditional and vintage Czech trams so our photoshoot ended up on a tram station close to Prague Castle.
It was a great pleasure to work on this photoshoot with Fiona. And as far as we don’t like to brag too much, receiving a thank you note ending with “…hopefully I will come back to Prague soon for another photoshoot!” totally made our day.
