Style:

Hi! I’m Carla and I live in Montevideo, Uruguay. A tiny country in south America but with very nice people. I’m a photographer and I really enjoy my job. About my style I like to photograph people in a more “real life” way, so I define myself like documentary photographer. It is essential to create a relaxed atmosphere so the “true you” will come to light.
I am a fan of natural light especially at sunset.
I find fascinating the idea that a time is encapsulated in a photo and that particular momement will never come back. But as long as we look at that picture we can go back time… magic!

I like long walks at sunset. I really love I love the smell of coffee in the morning and see old photographs on rainy days. What can I say… I am a romantic.

Recommended places:

One of our greatest treasures is the “rambla.” It’s a way that separates the city from the sea. It is possible to walk from the suburban parts of the city into the old town without any interruption.
If you want to eat some typical dishes in a nice place you should visit “Mercado agrícola de Montevideo.” An old building turning in to a really nice market place.
And you should’t go without visiting the old city with its typical streets, its Teatro solís, its “Puerta de la ciudadela”, the main square and its street musicians. It is definitely a must of any tourist.
