Style:

My style is best described as candid photography. It’s important to me for people to feel natural and spontaneous and to avoid posed appearances, to capture all the feelings that I can, the relationships, the contact between human beings and the emotions generated by it.
I also enjoy more shooting in the outdoors, although I do own a studio, which I mostly use in the winter, but at client’s request, the photo session can be moved in the studio at any given time. I don’t use artificial light outdoor, only a reflector when is needed. If in movies a good cinematographer’s goal is to make every still look like a good photo, my goal is to make every photo that I take to look like is ripped from a good movie.

I love cinematography and screenwriting, I am currently taking my master’s degree in “Tv and Movie Screen Writing”, I like to travel, especially in places where I can feel I can go back to the roots, where I am surrounded by nature and simplicity. Also music inspires me, I am usually listening to music when I am editing photos.

Recommended places:

Bucharest, Romania’s capital is a very versatile place for photography, as you can find many different elements in it. You can find big parks, with a lot of nature, grass and trees, lakes, but it also has amazing architecture, for more urban photo sessions. There are areas where the architecture is very similar to Paris’s architecture, that’s why it was called The Little Paris. At the periphery you can find forests, which can give you a perfect surrounding for a perfect photo. Also, at the periphery you can find villages and palaces. I usually shoot in big parks, like Tineretului Park or in the Botanical Garden, but I am open to any suggestion. I even took photos on a field, near the airport, because the client was a flight attendant and she wanted a photo exactly in the moment that the airplane would fly above her.
