Style:

I prefer shooting documentary style, as it makes me the most comfortable to do it, and believe it makes the subjects I’m photographing the most comfortable, too. In other words, while I’m shooting I try not to interfere too much, I don’t want to distract the subjects from being them self. My task is to move, observe and predict and to find the right composition and moment for the photo to work. As I want my subjects to be as much as relaxed as possible, I try to bring in all the good vibes and energy so it can be shown on photos.

I’m a mother of two boys and I’ve found that role to be the most valuable and something that makes me completely happy and at the same moment totally scared! I like not to act my age – that’s why I’m good with kids and everybody that feels like one! I love the silence, wideness, whiteness and sharp wind on top of the mountain during winter.

Recommended places:

City of Zagreb is familiar for numerous beautifully arranged parks across the city so they are one of my favorite places to shoot. All the greens gives a whiff of freshness, sun lights are bursting through the bold treetops and everything slows down in a big, busy city. Weather the shoot takes place in the parks in the city center (most beautiful Zrinjevac Park, J.J.Strossmayer Park, King Tomislav Square), or in the parks outside of the city center (Maksimir Park, Bundek Park) the magic is everywhere the same. Botanical garden is also one of my favorite spots to chill in the city, and if you’re into water – Jarun Lake offers nice scenery, as well as banks of river Sava, with its distant horizons can be a stunning backdrop for any kind of photo shoot!
Upper town holds long history behind, numerous stories and legends. Walking through the Upper town one can feel the mystery of ancient times! Luxurious buildings, sophisticated courtyards, street of stones and magnificent view on the Zagreb Down town makes you feel nice and warm.
For those wanting a bit of modern style, I would recommend lately build Zagreb Fountains and Museum of modern art.
