Style:

In 2013 I was trained and deployed as a photojournalist by the British Government and became an  expert in shooting highly observational portraits and lifestyle photography within tight deadlines and on a variety of outdoor and indoor locations. I was trained to shoot with a style that was unobtrusive, candid and “non cheesy” The work I shoot is predominantly authentic and documentary style. Often it has been said by clients, that my vibe and directorial style is fun and “real” and the images and videos “documentary-esque” almost like “stills from a movie:.Talking about movies…ince 2003, I have been shooting videos and editing them and clients include everything from event planners, to business content to medical mission documentaries in Honduras and Africa. Many photographers and videographers embellish what they have done in L.A. However, I have photography and videography portfolios that demonstrate the huge range of things that I have and do shoot. Last year, I was hired to shoot Luxury lodges and activities around Africa. I drove 4000km around Namibia and into Botswana shooting wildlife and conservation safaris and guests of the travel company that hired me – having fun! In my history, i’d say that I have shot over 500 families on locations, couples on location and probably in excess of 800 events and parties from Europe, to L.A to Far flung places.

I love CAPTURING stories ( and have shot protests and riots such as George Floyd ) and so THAT is what I love the most to capture — and even if I am hired to shoot fashion or portraits – my goal is to make it a super fun experience AND CAPTURE THE STORY 🙂

Recommended places:

L.A is very diverse and huge! I love beaches, mountains, snow capped regions and shooting unique projects – such as on boats or Hollywood film sets! I always ask the clients what their dream shoot is and any ideas they have and go from there!
