Located in northeastern Vietnam, Nahn Binh is a respite from Hanoi’s noise and bustle. From the hiking trails, green valleys, mountains, and rice fields, a visit to Ninh Binh is the best way to enjoy genuine rural living.
Rent a bike and explore the green fields and rice paddies in nearby Tam Coc. Watch out for the horses, cows and chickens, as this is their home. Skip the main roads and take the smaller trails to see how the people really live. Another way to see Tam Coc is by taking a boat ride on the Ngo Dong River. Take in the sights while floating through caves and grottos. The 500-stair hike up Hang Mua Peak rewards you with the most magnificent sights in Ninh Binh. Back down on flat land, enjoy the Bai Dinh Pagoda, over a thousand acres of temples and pagodas with Buddha statues.
The surreal scenery of Ninh Binh is straight out of National Geographic. Only a Ninh Binh photographer can do the landscape justice.
