At some point in time Dalyan was simply a rural farming community, but thanks to a spike in tourism, it is now a booming hub of nightlife. Situated on the Bognazi river which flows into the Mediterranean, there’s always something to do in Dalyan.
People flock from far and wide to see the ancient and atmospheric remains of the city of Kaunos, now mostly underground. Still, a huge portion has been excavated. The archaeological site includes a Roman theatre, a Byzantine basilica, the bathhouses and the numerous rock tombs. Afterwards, relax and rejuvenate in the world renowned mud baths in the area before hitting the town for its excellent nightlife.
