Prague is the capital of the Czech Republic and is one of the most historically-rich cities in Europe. Boasting beautiful architecture, stunning red roofs, antique cobblestone streets, incredible artwork, and the Vltava River, this city is a must-see for both traveling groups and individuals. There’s nothing quite like exploring a brand new place with your best friends and loved ones, and that’s exactly what this group of girlfriends decided to do. Planned as a surprise bachelorette party for one girl, the fun-loving group of six hired one of our amazing local photographers, Dana, to capture their memories and adventures during their bachelorette photoshoot at many spots of the enchanting city of Prague.
Bachelorette Photoshoot on the Famous Charles Bridge
One of the most iconic monuments in the city is the magnificent Charles Bridge. Carved out of centuries-old stone, lined with impressive statues and with a stunning view of the many spires in the background, this bridge traversing the Vltava river is a must-see for any visitor.
One of the hardest parts about photographing a group of people in a frequently-visited or touristy place is being able to set the group apart from the crowds while still capturing the beauty of the surroundings. Dana was able to use her local knowhow and experience to both create some excellent standout images and memories for the group, as well as play tour guide and show them some of the best places in the city.
Best Bachelorette Photoshoot Spots in Prague
Appropriately named the John Lennon Wall, this wall in central Prague is a colorful display of street art centering around a celebration of peace and the fall of the U.S.S.R. The super colorful backdrop and uplifting vibes make this wall a popular place to visit for tourists and locals alike and was a great background for the perfect bachelorette photoshoot.
Perfect for a mix of fun and serious shots, this background was just the right place for such a fun and enthusiastic Bachelorette group to create some beautiful, happy memories. The group photos turned out very well, and Dana’s many skillful shots allowed each individual’s personality to shine through, and the pictures will be great souvenirs from their Bachelorette trip to Prague.
Love Locks and Laughs at the Certovka Bridge
One of the most trafficked pedestrian bridges in Prague, as well as one of the most beautiful, the Čertovka Bridge is adorned with love locks and makes for a great background for any vacation photo shoot.
Located very near to the John Lennon Wall with a view of the city in the background, the girls posed on this lovely bridge while Dana photographed their contagious smiles. As a slightly more “off-the-beaten-path” photo shoot destination, Dana knew this bridge would make for an excellent backdrop and some very typically “Prague” memories for the girls.
Photo Session at Vltava’s Riverfront
It’s impossible to fully appreciate the beauty of Prague without taking a moment to walk along the riverbanks, or at least pause to take in the exceptional view. The tranquil Vltava river weaves its way through the heart of the city and its banks can be the perfect place to relax after a long day of sightseeing.
Bringing the group together with a mixture of comical and more serious group poses, Dana captured some lovely photos on the riverbanks, which will make the girls’ Bachelorette trip one to remember.
