Especially during the summer months, you can find sail boats or fishing boats for day excursions on the water. It is also the location of several more recent tourist attractions, such as the Marine Museum and the Aquarium. The aquarium is the largest in Italy and holds species of marine animals from all over the world. One of the top attractions and a great spot for photographs is the beautiful biosphere, a domed glass building that contains a haven of tropical trees and flowers.
