When Nick decided to propose to the love of his life, he planned a trip to the magical city of Stockholm. A day in Stockholm is already an unforgettable experience, so he thought it the perfect place to pop the question.
Stockholm is also an incredible photo destination – something that Nick had already thought of. He contacted us when planning his proposal to the woman of his dreams because he wanted to make sure that every moment was captured. From her initial reaction to the look on his face when she said yes, Nick knew that this would be a day full of priceless moments.
Tanja, one of our talented photographers in Stockholm, followed the couple throughout the day, capturing romantic moments both before and after the big event. With Nick’s soon to be fiancé, completely unsuspecting, Tanja was able to capture natural photos of the love shared by the happy couple.
When it came to the actual proposal, Tanja was waiting close by and captured everything from the moment Nick got down on one knee, to the emotional kiss they shared when she said yes. She even managed to photograph the moment that Nick’s now-fiancé realized that the entire thing had been caught on camera!
Nick proposed by the edge of the harbor, a truly romantic spot. So the couple now has beautiful photos of the proposal, with Stockholm’s colorful city line in the background, and boats passing by.
Moments After the Proposal
Once Nick revealed that Tanja had been following them to capture the entire thing, the couple was free to pose openly in front of the camera, and celebrate their engagement with a photo shoot.
Nick’s fiancé was able to get beautiful solo shots of her with her engagement ring, and the couple was able to choose perfect photo spots around Stockholm for couple shots. They posed in front of the harbor, in front of beautiful Swedish architecture, and against a plain wall for a classic photo. They even headed to one of Stockholm’s beautiful natural parks, where Tanja was able to capture the happy couple playing and celebrating together on the grass.
So Nick and his fiancé returned from their trip to Stockholm with pictures of their engagement and their romantic day. With the help of Tanja they managed to capture one of the happiest days of their lives with pictures that will last forever.
