This quaint, historic town is located in between the cities of Chania and Heraklion, making it very easy to access. There is a variety of architectural styles, from Venetian-era buildings to landmarks from when the town was ruled by the Turks. Rethymnon is also known for its great beaches and coast, and your whole family can enjoy a day in the sun and play in the calm Mediterranean waters.
