Family trips are so important, especially when kids are old enough to appreciate the sights. If your family loves a good beach, and you’re visiting the United States for the first time, San Diego, California is an excellent place to start!
Family Photoshoot with Beach Lovers
Sony and Tunji were visiting the states along with their kids, from Toronto, Ontario. They planned to land at LAX and drive along the coast, ending at La Jolla. We pay attention to our customers’ preferences because it fosters an excellent client relationship and also makes everyone happy.
Thankfully, this family was open enough to share a crucial preference with us. They mentioned that they’re water lovers. In Toronto, where they reside, they live by a lake, and they also wanted to take epic pictures of their family trip at a location near the water.
Scripps Beach, San Diego – the Perfect Location
What better location than the famous Scripps beach in La Jolla! Sony and Tunji got to work with our lovely photographer, Erin. As a San Diego local herself, Erin had visited Scripps beach multiple times and knew the best spots for family photographs.
Locals and tourists alike love Scripps beach because of the cliffs, the varying textures in the background due to the surrounding rocks, and of course the stunning pier which attracts a good number of tourists and photographers.
Sony and Tunji also wanted to check out other spots during their trip, and Erin was more than willing to play tour guide. The beach is also known for being a quieter, more intimate one than some of the other surrounding beaches. While you’ll find a few swimmers and kayakers, most people at this San Diego beach are strollers and families seeking quiet time.
Family Bonding
On vacation, it can be difficult to take good photos as a family for many reasons. First off, no one in the family may be a particularly talented photographer. This time though, Sony and Tunji could frolic in the sand with their children, run around on the beach, get their feet wet, all while being captured by the wonderful Erin! They could rest assured that all necessary body parts would be in the picture frame. As our photographers are known to do, Erin also put the family at ease, so they could be themselves in front of the camera, without any camera jitters.
Keeping the Spark Alive
Parenting, while rewarding, can be time and energy-consuming, and there are no days off, even while on vacation. Sony and Tunji were glad for a few minutes of a couple-time, posing together and enjoying the scenery while creating memories that would last forever.
They could also just sit back from time to time, just watching their kids have fun in the sun, and enjoy their adventure in San Diego. Every parent knows that half the fun on a family vacation is watching your kids enjoy themselves.
