6 Things to Do in Dubai on Your Honeymoon Vacation

A trip to Dubai will be exotic, cosmopolitan, and fascinating; a honeymoon in Dubai is a great escape for couples who enjoy luxury and hedonism. From the huge shopping malls to the gourmet restaurants, bars, and nightclubs, beaches or the hotels’ fabulous pools – this is a modern city, where the Arabian hospitality is very well demonstrated.

Dubai offers not only fun but also a culture with its impressive souks and shrines. Desert tours can be adventurous, very romantic, and even a way to celebrate different moments. For newlyweds to make the most of their time together, hiring a honeymoon photographer could be a great way of registering the best moments with professionalism and without being disturbed. Regardless of how you plan your vacation, here are 6 ideas of what to do as a couple on a honeymoon vacation in Dubai.

Tip #1

Relax at Jumeirah Beach

Jumeirah Beach is a public beach of fine sand, bathed by calm waters. It is a great alternative to unwind for an afternoon and simply enjoy a relaxing moment with your loved one. The views from this area are excellent: the skyscrapers in the background contrast with the deep blue water and beige sand, creating the perfect background for a perfect honeymoon photoshoot.

Tip #2

Admire the Views from Burj Khalifa

It is impossible not to see the tallest structure on the planet when one arrives in Dubai. Above the city skyline, the Burj Khalifa lies as a giant needle – being an example of technology and contemporaneous design. The opportunity to observe the 134th-floor balcony city should not be missed. Whether day or night, the view is breathtaking, perfect spot to take stunning couple photography.

Tip #3

Go Skiing

Get away from the heat, take some fun photographs, and immerse yourself in an icy adventure at the Mall of the Emirates. Skiing in Dubai is possible due to the great miracles of modern technology, and despite the extreme temperatures outside, there is an indoor ski slope where you can have fun for a few hours. It is possible to rent all the necessary equipment on-site. However, do not assume that this will be the same as skiing in the Swiss Alps.

Tip #4

Have a Weekend Brunch

Weekends in Dubai start on Thursday nights, and it is almost a tradition for restaurants to put everything they can eat and drink at Friday brunch. The various establishments compete for the most elaborate foods and beverages they can offer. Have you seen those amazing photos of food on Instagram? Here you will be able to take your own.

Tip #5

Visit the House of Sheikh Saeed Al-Maktoum

One of the oldest residences in Dubai is the Sheikh Saeed Al-Maktoum House, dating from the 19th century. The house was built in the light of traditional techniques and includes wind-catching towers, which help keep the house cool even on warmer days. When the Al-Maktoum family lived in the house they saw wonderful views of the Persian Gulf, but with the development of the shoreline in recent years, much of the sight has disappeared.

Nevertheless, a visit is worthwhile to see and photograph the incredible interior. Visit the Jumeirah Mosque This unique structure of the city is one of the most visited spots. Located a few minutes drive from the beach area, it is an example of the evolution of Muslim architecture. The building is all made of white stone with 2 minaret towers that reach to the sky – is the central point of the mosque. No non-Muslims are allowed – much like in any other mosque in Dubai – unless they are part of the guided tours. Even so, the views from the outside are outstanding, creating another ideal backdrop to take a photo together.

Tip #6

Go for a Trip in the Desert

If you want to escape the city, a visit to the Dubai desert can be fantastic. There are numerous tour companies that pick you up from the hotel and take you on a desert excursion which includes a camel ride, an Arab meal, and a belly dancing show.

The orange dunes are about 1 hour from Dubai and the programs usually include a trip along the desert dunes during sunset and a very romantic dinner under the starry sky in tents reminiscent of the past (which are great opportunities for some night photography ). Meals are normally based on roasted lamb and couscous, and you can have fun watching the belly dancers.

If you are more adventurous, it is possible to rent a 4×4 and drive to the natural Hatta Rock Pools, or
the only natural waterfall in the United Arab Emirates, the Wadi Wurayah. These incredible sceneries are worth the visit, with the promise of rendering great memories and photographs.
