Likes:

I am the mother of two marvelous creatures, a traveler, the wife to my travel companion husband, a lover of healthy, green food, a cook, a homework helper, a storyteller, a friend, a yogi and an admirer of all things simple and beautiful.
I photograph interior as well as tell stories of people in my photography (weddings, couples, families) or shoot portraits.
I love meeting new people and showing my beautiful home town Stockholm. I have been a bit of a nomad moving around quite a bit. I lived in Bermuda, Canada, Germany and now Sweden.

Recommended places:

In Stockholm, I like to shoot at Stadshuset (Cityhall) for the wonderful backdrops and availability during any weather (it’s covered). I love to use the old doors all over Stockholm to frame my subjects. Gamla Stan, the old town, is another favorite yet it is crowded. I like shooting long exposure there where the crowd blurs away while my subjects standstill. Otherwise, I go to Riddarholmen, which has a similar feel but is less touristy.
Another favorite is the area outside Grand Hotel which has the palace in the background plus the iconic ferries going to the archipelago. Shooting on ferries is also wonderful for lifestyle shots.
The Island of Skeppsholmen features views of Gröna Lund (the amusement park which is especially cool at blue hour), the water and the hipster island of Södermalm.
I love shooting couples holding hands while eating a Swedish Fika (Coffee and Cake) in one of the local cafés and catching kisses through the windows of the café.
For Swedish nature photos near the city, I head to the Kings hunting ground, Kungliga Djurgården/Stora Skuggan, which is easily accessible from the city and has a deep forest feel to it and even little remote beaches.
The island of Lidingö has country farms, beautiful old county estates (“slots”). And it is only a short train or bus ride away from central Stockholm.
For an archipelago feel the city of Vaxholm is accessible by bus or ferry.
