One man’s proposal was so picture-perfect that even romance novels could learn a thing or two. After all, what could be more beautiful than getting engaged in a stunning park in the heart of Madrid, Spain?

Flowers and a Surprise Engagement

Stefano knew that his girlfriend deserved a proposal that was as special as she is. He also wanted to make sure that every moment was captured perfectly on camera, so he and his soon-to-be fiancé could remember the moment for the rest of their lives together. When Stefano contacted us looking to hire a local vacation photographer to capture the moment of his once in a lifetime engagement, we were so excited to match him with one of our fantastic local photographers in Madrid, Leyre.

In order to keep the proposal a complete surprise, Leyre corresponded with Stefano to choose the perfect place for the engagement. They settled on a beautiful park that featured a pristine fountain and a building with stunning architecture. It was the perfect spot for Stefano to get down on one knee. In addition, it also provided an ideal backdrop that would frame the couple perfectly in their photos. When the big day finally arrived, Leyre was sure to stay out of sight until the proposal as to not ruin the surprise.

A Moment Captured Forever

Because Stefano hired a proposal photographer to capture his proposal, he could focus on wowing his bride to be, instead of stressing about capturing decent images of the event taking place. Stefano lead his fiancé, Peggy, to the edge of the fountain where a gorgeous bouquet of flowers and a sweet note about their fourth anniversary waited. After she read the note, Stefano took the ring out of his pocket and asked for Peggy’s hand in marriage.

Leyre managed to capture every sweet moment; from the exact moment Peggy realized what Stefano was doing, to the couple hugging each other with pure joy and happiness. Each moment was expertly captured with perfect lighting and composition thanks to Leyre’s exceptional skills as a photographer.

A Dreamy Engagement Photo Shoot

Little did Peggy know, the surprises were far from over. Once Stefano proposed, Leyre revealed himself as their proposal and engagement photographer, and told the newly engaged couple that it was now time for their engagement photo shoot!

Stefano and his fiancé were able to take advantage of their photographer’s local knowledge of the area. Leyre was able to suggest the best spots around the park for taking romantic engagement photos from Madrid.
