Proposals are the beginning of incredible love stories and a lifetime of happiness. The memory of one young couple’s surprise engagement will be cherished forever thanks to the photos captured by a vacation photographer in Munich, Germany.
Planning the Surprise
While most people have engagement photo shoots to announce their upcoming nuptials, more and more people are choosing to have the actual proposal photographed. This is typically done by hiring a photographer to hide and take paparazzi-style photos, but this can be more challenging to do when you are proposing on your travels abroad. However, with one of our talented vacation photographers, you can travel the world and still have your special moment captured in meaningful photographs.

A.J., one of our clients, had planned to propose to his fiance while they were on holiday in Munich, Germany, but he wanted to make sure a photographer was there to capture the moment for them. He decided to reach out to Anna, our local vacation photographer in Munich, to photograph his proposal to his beautiful fiance. With Anna’s help, A.J. was able to successfully pull off a surprise proposal and surprise his fiance with a fun photo shoot they will always look back on with fond memories.
The Nymphenburg Palace is one beautiful location for a photoshoot in Munich, and there is no shortage of places to serve as backdrops. The palace, its gardens, and the lakes make stunning backdrops for any photos, but the romance of the location makes it even more perfect for a proposal and engagement photo shoot. The old, royal building is full of incredible architecture, luscious greenery, and more private areas that can all make it easier to capture a romantic moment between a loving couple.
A.J. and his fiance walked along the waterfront of the canal that bisects the park and gardens, and when they finally made it to the end, he dropped to one knee and asked his lovely fiance to spend the rest of her life with him. Anna was able to capture this exact moment as well as the moment that his fiance said yes. The waterfront and palace in the distance made for a very romantic setting and beautiful photos. The couple also had several photos captured as they spent more time in the park, in front of the cascades, and in front of the center pavilion of the Nymphenburg Palace.
After A.J. proposed to his fiance, Anna was revealed as the photographer and then the fun continued as the engagement photo shoot began. While the couple was still enjoying the exciting feeling of their recent engagement, Anna was able to capture several genuine moments of happiness and love between the two young lovebirds.
Smiles, laughs, and kisses were all a part of the more traditional and posed portion of the photo shoot, and of course, the stunning ring was eagerly displayed in several photos.
Since A.J. had decided to hire Anna to capture every moment of his proposal to his beautiful fiance, the happy couple will be able to look back on and cherish the memory for years. The romantic proposal with the Nymphenburg Palace in the background is just the start of their wonderful fairytale. We wish the happy couple many years of happiness and hope they will always treasure the photos from their photo shoot with Anna.
