A special vacation can be the perfect occasion to pop the question! More couples are having their proposals photographed, but this can be difficult to plan as a surprise while on holiday. However, Johan found the perfect vacation photographer in Tokyo. Our photographer, Mike, accompanied Johan and his girlfriend to the picturesque and perfectly-pink sakura gardens in Tokyo.
Special Cherry Blossom Photoshoot
Johan and his girlfriend booked a professional photographer in Tokyo to capture their amazing photoshoot with the blossoming cherry blossoms in a park. As they are expecting, the couple wanted a magical scene for their love and the upcoming bundle of joy! The landscape did not disappoint. The soft and romantic cherry blossoms drifted around them as they embraced and their love shone bright!
Celebrating the internationally iconic cherry blossoms, known as sakura, is a springtime tradition of Japan and thousands of visitors each year. The pastime of look at the flowers is known as “hanami” and people take hanami very seriously! Sakura appreciation picnics and photoshoots are common. But Johan knew his visit to the sakura would be anything but common!
Proposal Photographer in Action!
What Johan’s girlfriend wasn’t expecting was a surprise proposal! As if the shoot couldn’t become more romantic, Johan paused and slowly got down on one knee. As the blossoms bloomed around them, she was in disbelief at the unexpected scene! She embraced her new fiancé- the excitement of the surprise surpassing even the beauty of the sakura around them.
A passerby even stopped by to congratulate them, after witnessing the perfect moment! Of course, their professional photographer caught the romance and joy of this secret surprise proposal.
The Engagement Photoshoot
After the proposal, the beautiful photoshoot turned into an engagement photo session. The stunning ring was beautiful set against the cherry blossoms.
When they hear about the engagement, the first thing people will ask is “Let me see the ring!” With their jaw-dropping photos, they can now show off the ring and their engagement moment to friends and family.
