Porto is a city by the coast in Portugal famous for its ancient structures, narrow cobbled streets and of course, its beaches. It’s no surprise then that Tae and her husband chose this gorgeous city as their honeymoon location.
If you’re visiting Porto for the first time, there’s a lot you can do no matter what your interests are. What you can’t miss though is a trip to the beach! Because the weather is perfect for the beach practically all year round and nearly all the beaches are pretty close to the city, it’s the number one spot to hang out.
While you’re at the beach, feel free to get your tan on, catch a nice breeze, read a good book, or have a beach picnic. If you’re a more active person, you can even practice your surfing on the beach. Even better, hire a professional photographer to capture those breathtaking beach views, follow you and your loved one around and make memories!
Honeymoon Photoshoot in Romantic Porto
When Tae messaged us wanting to document her and husband’s honeymoon in Porto, we contacted our local photographer, Maksym. Weddings can be a flurry of activities; coordinating event locations, caterers, outfits, and even photography. So, couples often love to take a break from all the activity and savor their time together while on their honeymoon.
The honeymoon is also a wonderful opportunity to reflect on their journey as a couple and the next steps as they move forward. With that in mind, our photographer presented the couple an escape from busy Porto streets into a beautiful, scenic beach.
Tae and her husband spent the time taking in the scenery as Maksym documented the special time. They splashed in the sea, took leisurely strolls on the sand, and spent time bonding with each other in the early evening sunshine. Our vacation photographers are skilled at capturing intimate moments without being intruding; couples can relax and enjoy each other’s company and the beauty around them. Tae even had a moment to admire her new wedding ring!
Watch the Sunset in Porto
Escaping to a new city as newlyweds is always a charming, delightful experience. You can see new sights, breathe new air, and spend time in the embrace of your new spouse. For Tae and her new husband, it was no different.
The couple got to watch the sunset on the beach in Porto, surrounded by the blue sea, and virtually no other tourists in sight. Now, they’ll always have these photos to remind them of their first trip to Porto as newlyweds when they got to watch the most stunning orange sunset.
Leave Footprints in the Sand
Many new couples only focus on wedding photography, but then wish later on that they had someone to document their honeymoon as well. After all, this is indeed when your first memories alone with your spouse are created.
Instead of needing to ask other tourists or locals who may take shaky photos (bless their hearts), or be forced to take photos in crowdy tourist spots, Tae and her love chose a private, unforgettable photoshoot experience with us.
