I love music! Music that makes me want to dance especially. Or music to chill with. I love the ocean, its vastness makes me feel insignificant yet so full of life. My dream is to live with an ocean view one day. A new love for me is flying, filming, and taking photographs with my new drone. Seeing the world from above is a perspective I will always enjoy. I love the expression on people’s faces when I share their photos with them! They look like they see magic, and all I am doing is revealing how beautiful they are, no magic.
Recommended places:
Ribeira District is a classic Porto location, full of historic charm and color along the Douro River. São Bento Station is a beautiful train station known for its intricate tile work and grand architecture. Dom Luís I Bridge is an iconic spot with fantastic views from both on the bridge and below, connecting Porto to Gaia.
For some of my favorite views, Jardins do Palácio de Cristal offers diverse scenery and lighting, while Miradouro da Serra do Pilar and Jardim do Morro in Gaia provide stunning panoramic views of Porto, perfect for sunset photos.
The Porto Cathedral is a beautiful, historic cathedral near the top level of the Dom Luís I Bridge. Down in the city, the Capela das Almas (Chapel of Souls) is an iconic blue-tiled chapel on the bustling Rua de Santa Catarina. Mercado do Bolhão is a historic and authentic market that is wonderfully “Porto” for a unique photoshoot backdrop.
On the Gaia side of the river, the historic Rebolo boats provide a great backdrop with the Porto skyline in the distance. The Half Rabbit sculpture by artist Bordalo II is a unique, popular request. For transportation, the vintage Eletro Trams themselves make for a classic Porto photo backdrop.
If you’re willing to travel a bit, Senhor da Pedra Chapel is a spectacular spot on the beach in Miramar, about a 20-minute train ride from Porto.
