San Francisco is one of the most romanticized cities in the world. The climate is just right, the winds are strong and lustful and the sun is often shining over the world-famous Golden Gate Bridge. Visiting San Francisco in Summer

Unlike most major cities in the world, San Francisco has relatively mild summer temperatures. You certainly don’t want to make the mistake of skipping out on packing a jacket and sweater to this breezy city, because even though it’s in California, it’s up in the north where the wind certainly has some gust and presence. In the summer months, you have the option of going kayaking around the bay or you can explore the plethora of street fairs happening all over the city such as the Gay Pride Parade & Celebration, Union Street Festival or the Haight Street Fair.

Visiting San Francisco in Winter

Just after ThanksGiving, Christmas season begins in full swing, which means you can attend tree lighting ceremonies and view life-size gingerbread homes!

You can visit the Cherry Blossom Festival in Japantown, check out the boat parade on the bay when all of the boats show off their best attributes to its gaping audience, or visit the many gardens with blooming rhododendrons.
