Bright warm.
First thing that I like is collecting things. Camera is my one of collection and recently stuff I’m in interested in for collection is retro game that I used to play when i’m very young. Second is cat. I simply love cat. I have two cats and they makes me calm and happy. Last one is my newborn baby. I recently became father and now i’m getting used to it. More responsibility but more happiness.
Zhenli University in Danshui which is the place the famous Taiwan movie were taken. Very romantic with sunset.
Korean, Chinese and English.
Kyunghoon is a professional Taipei photographer based in the city. Originally from South Korea, he brings a bright, warm shooting style to Taipei’s streets, temples, and hidden corners — with a particular talent for finding the romantic, cinematic quality in everyday locations.
Kyunghoon is a collector by nature — cameras, retro games, moments. That instinct for noticing and preserving things carries into his photography. He has an eye for the small details that make a frame feel alive: the way morning light grazes a pastel facade, the curve of a lantern-lit alley, the split second when someone forgets the camera is there.
Taipei is where Kyunghoon lives and shoots exclusively. His favorite spot is Dihua Street in the early morning — the baroque-era shopfronts, the quiet before the dried-goods merchants open up, and the east-facing light that turns the whole street into a film set. He also recommends Zhenli University in Danshui, where a famous Taiwanese movie was filmed, for romantic sunset sessions that most visitors never discover. For a full breakdown of his favorite locations, Kyunghoon contributed to our guide on the 10 best Taipei photo spots.
What sets Kyunghoon apart is his perspective. As a Korean photographer working in Taiwan, he sees Taipei the way a traveler does — fresh, curious, alert to what makes the city different. That translates into photos that capture Taipei’s unique character rather than defaulting to generic Asian cityscape shots. For details on pricing and what each session includes, Kyunghoon also contributed to our Taipei photographer cost guide.
Kyunghoon speaks Korean, Chinese, and English — making him a natural fit for Korean travelers visiting Taipei. His style is bright and warm, and his relaxed personality puts clients at ease quickly. Outside of work, he is a new father and a dedicated cat owner, so families and couples who want a photographer who understands genuine warmth and connection will find a natural match.
