Snowboarding – one of my biggest obsessions and something that keeps me coming back to Switzerland. It’s like your own personal rollercoaster that you get to control.

My bike, Lola – Lola is older than me but still going strong! Travelling by bike around Interlaken is often faster than driving.

Avocado & Vegimite on toast – my reminder of home, Australia.

Recommended places:

There are some amazing walking trails behind Interlaken Ost station that take you to the Lake of Thun & Neuhaus. On the other side of town you will find the Lake of Brienz with some great photo opportunities on the water.

The Hohematte, which is the park in the centre of town gives you an amazing viewpoint of the surrounding mountains and is also the landing spot for the paragliders and hanggliders.
