Satoshi

Satoshi is a professional Osaka photographer, also available in Kyoto and Nara. His mission is simple: to capture each visitor's travel story in Japan with the same care he wishes someone had taken with his own travels abroad. A former backpacker turned musician and photographer, he treats every session as a chance to make a new friend.

Home Base

Satoshi is based in Osaka, working most often across the city's traditional and historical pockets as well as the vibrant covered markets and street districts that define modern Osaka. He understands the seasonal rhythm of the Kansai region intimately, photographing cherry blossoms in spring, lush green leaves in summer, maple foliage in autumn, and snow scenes in winter. For Osaka specifically, he leans on locations like Kuromon Ichiba Market, where he prefers to shoot tight detail rather than wide overviews, working in the consistent light of the covered arcade.

Extended Coverage

Beyond Osaka, Satoshi regularly travels to Kyoto, where most of his sessions happen in the Gion and Higashiyama areas, including Yasui Konpira Shrine, Ishibekoji, and Maruyama Park. His familiarity with these neighborhoods means he can guide clients to the less-crowded photo spots that most visitors miss. He also covers Nara for shoots at the temples and deer park.
