Recommended places:

Stirling is a magical city full of history, green areas and monuments. My favourite places are: King’s Knot Park, especially in winter; the Stirling Castle, inside and outside; in the back yard of the Smith’s museum, where a secret garden is hidden; on the many walks that Stirling offers (for hikers); at the Stirling University campus, a beautiful green area with castles, waterfalls, a lake with swans and many many trees; Gowan Hill, with the landscape of the city; by the river Forth, that goes through Stirling; In the William Wallace monument area, a panoramic spot; and last but not least, the Old Stirling Bridge, one of the symbols of the city.
