My photographic background lies in photojournalism, where the entire goal is to document moments as they happen. I like to apply this principle in my portrait sessions. Although there has to be some sort of direction, I like to set something up and then let it happen as it does, freely. I would describe my style as candid and unobtrusive but with some gentle guidance.
